Apparently I still haven't figured out this 'back to the internet' thing yet....between being sick, being out of town (not for fun, sadly) and an odd number of thunderstorm induced power outages, I'm just not managing it :\

Seriously, what's with this?

I want to wish the very bestest friend nikilicious05 a supercalifragilisticexpialidociously wonderful birthday (that is *really* not an easy word to guess at spelling on a phone*).

I hope random people came pp and gave you balloons and chocolates and compliments today because you deserve them from more that just every one you know :D. But not anyone creepy, of course.

The mobile flist page cordykitten have me let's me read my flist finally (uhmm, just not Elena's journal-that one timed out :s). But my scrolly thing on my phone, is being pissy about comment/post boxes (as in I have to scroll what should be 20+ times to get under them to the post button).

WHY IS ANGEL STILL TWO PEOPLE and Spike is not?

No, seriously...There is Angel and there is Angelus...then there's Spike when he was doing a good job of trying to do better without a soul and then there's 'Spike's evil, OMG! he tried to rape Buffy!' And people are serious about it.

I just really do not understand how you can, on one hand, say 'But Angelus did that' and then say, 'Spike/Buffy is just wrong' or 'Spike's still an evil vampire' and cite Seeing Red's events. That just makes no sense to me.

If Angel is one person (or vampire I suppose) when he doesn't have his soul and another when he does and no longer responsible for the actions of that 'other person', why is Spike one person soul or no soul? And why is soul having Spike responsible for soul-less Spike's actions? That doesn't line up to me.

And yes, I like Spike and I like Spike/Buffy and I don't think that Buffy/Angel makes sense past when it occured on the show...butI own all the seasons of Angel and enjoy it; I'm not on some mission to 'get' him or anything.

I just don't understand the 'Angel's not Angelus, you can't fault him for what Angelus did' argument, ( no one needs a 1458 word post uncut )

Maybe two weeks ago (crazy message deleting phone means I don't have whatever I think I sent Bekah so no checking there)..

Anyhow, something like two weeks ago there was a preview started for PS I Love You, regular old movie trailer. My brother said something about wasn't that the movie you saw (and I swear that's just because he's aweseome and pays attention to my life). I said it was and that it was out in December but I guess it was out on DVD or something....

At the end, want to know what Mr Announcer Guy says 'in theatres December 21*'

Yep, FX was a little messed up and put on the theatrical trailer....we even checked to make sure it wasn't a tape on and made sure the DirecTV hadn't somehow started playing ne...it was the TV ;)



So, long story short: in April, FX aired the 'in theatres December 21*' preview of PS I Love You like it made complete sense

*I really hope that's the right date, now

and yesterday I made dog biscuits...only they're shaped like puffy gingerbread men because that was the only cookie cutter I could find...A few of them are circles because I tried things with a glass towards the end but that failed so I went back to the gingerbread man.

I also made a grasshopper pie because I kind of love those and I wanted one for my birthday (hint: my half birthday's in 18 days) but that didn't happen.

And I made two broccoli cheddar quiches....and they'r good, too....Cool, huh?



Oh, and I'm going to watch some of the Dresden Files show now--it's all Sway's fault--because Blockbuster decided to start having that show (they have BSG which I'd be watching and it'd be all Sarah's fault....but they only had S3). Sorry for the longness but I had stuff to say :P

This is way, way overdue but thank you very, very, very much to Allison for the The Awakening book (I'm sorry I didn't say something earlier, it came while I was in London and then I didn't update so long after I got back...and I suck) but I absolutely adore it and thank you so, so much...I decided it was a belated birthday gift--so THANK YOU!
